From Offenburg drive northwest on Federal road no. 33 via Bühl, Griesheim until you reach Sand. Just before Sand turn left and take Federal road no. 28 (feeder road to the autobahn), cross the border near Kehl and drive on to the centre of Strasbourg.
Strasbourg is a remarkable historical town - seat of the Council of Europe and the European Parliament. Apart from the cathedral, one of the most visited sights of France (built of red sandstone in the 11th to 15th century, 142 m high steeple, glass paintings, Silbermann organ) you should by all means see the "Tannersÿ Quarter" (old halftimber houses) and the numerous interesting museums. Sightseeing tours of the town and the cathedral as well as tours of the town and the harbour by ship are a special experience. For a stop the many little wine taverns and restaurants with their famous Alsatian cuisine around the cathedral can be highly recommended.
