The former "Königshof" (administration building of the landvogt of the Ortenau) was designed by the Vorarlberg architect Dominik Elmenreich on the basis of the plans of Michael Ludwig Rohrer from Baden-Baden, who built Favorite Palace at Rastatt, from 1714 - 1717.
