From the Town Hall (Baroque building from 1741) walk east through the pedestrian zone (Fish Market: Lion's Fountain, 1599; Hirsch Pharmacy; St. Andreas Church) to Lindenplatz (Narrenbrunnen «Fool's Fountain» 1964), cross the railway and walk straight on through Friedenstrasse (Trinity Church, Romanesque basilica, 1906 - 1908 to the left) past the Trade School and the old cemetery (Jewish graves) to the Protestant Auf-erstehungskirche (Resurrection Church). In front of the church turn left and walk right through the street "Zur Lindenhöhe" and "Laubengasse" up to "Lindenhöhe".
From the little lookout platform you have a magnificent view of the mountains "Estolzkopf" - "Brandeckkopf" - "Hohes Horn". In a really picturesque way the vine villages of Rammersweier, Zell-Weierbach, Fessenbach, Käfersberg and Ortenberg lie at the foot of the hills nestling into the seemingly endless vineyards of the Ortenau.
On the ridge path of "Lindenhöhe" continue your tour either to Rammersweier (turn left at the junction), or to Zell-Weierbach (straight on) or back to Offenburg via Rebmannshalde (right).
